Nokia Media Transfer for Mac: Mac faithful get some Nokia love

Nokia has released a wonderful app for mac users, Nokia MEdia transfers. The program creates smart sync playlists and folders or iTunes and iPhoto; supports two way syncing of media; file browser and application installer. The application provides tons of automation features and is really well made. Major props to Nokia on this one. Check it out here

New PC Suite for N-Series Devices

Darla Mac recently posted about this on her blog and I thought some of you N-Series junkies might want to have a "look see".

The Nseries PC Suite is available for download from the Nseries N76 support pages, but supports other Nseries devices such as the N95, N73, N75 and N77.

On Vox: Mac Update: 6126 iSync plugin & PCSuite for Mac

Today I have a couple huge things that are especially important to mac users.

1.    Today, Nova Media released a PCSuite equivalent for mac users.  The software, Fone Link, costs about $60.00 but is well worth the money. With it you are able to:

• Transfer & convert your music, photos, videos and more to and from your mobile phone
• Backup and restore your data.
• Sync your contacts and calendar, both ways
• Browse your entire phone & memory card
• Create smart folders for easy drag and & drop of file types (amazing!!!)
• View and edit internet book marks and notes
• View SMS messages on your mobile and store them to your computer
• Create ringtones
• And the list goes on and on

This has been a huge issue for Mac users in the past so I am ecstatic!!!

Nokia 8600 Hands on

The lads over at T3 got their sticky hands on the Nokia 8600 Luna and got to see exactly how it feels. In case you don't remember, there's a 2-megapixel camera, 1GB internal storage, an OLED screen and a sliding body.

This phone is S40 based and beautiful!!!

I was browsing yesterday and came across a wonderful post in the howard forums. SEVEN, the company that is responsible for Cingular's Xpress Mail, has released an open beta that is wonderful.

It is a free Symbian application that provides a very simple way to setup push email for your personal email. It's as simple as downloading the program, selecting your provider, and entering your user name/password, SEVEN does the rest. You are immediately connected to your GMail, Yahoo, AOL, POP/IMAP, and soon to be Hotmail/MSN account. It's amazing!!! Hit the link and get your account setup!

I've started a new project of setting up tutorials of software I come across. Soooo, I figured I'd start with VOX.

Vox is a free internet neighborhood that allows you to create your own personal internet site. Vox Mobile is a free S60 application that provides seamless integration between your Vox site and your Symbian device.

With Vox Mobile you are able to post any combination of pictures, video, sounds, and text from your mobile device directly to the site with one click. You can use a combination of all the supported types to create the perfect journal entry, announcement, or show a slide show of your sister's graduation.
